 The work of the artist Michal Leszczynski, perhaps better known by his anglicised name Michael Lester will, 34 years after his death, be celebrated later this year with an illustrated biography.

The purpose of this website is to create a forum for the appreciation of his work.

Owners of his paintings are invited to contact us and send a photo of the work to be considered for inclusion in the illustrated biography.

The biography will be published by Focus Publications (Int), S.A., www.focuspublicationsint.com.

The house that Michael Lester built in the hills overlooking Montego Bay - Jamaica, where he spent the last 25 years of his life, a period which he called his "private renaissance"; is preserved as a monument to his genius and houses a superb collection of his work.
