 The View

The Anchorage at Belmont, St. James, Jamaica was the home and studio of the late Michael Lester, a polish sea captain and painter of renown. A collection of his original works is on display in the studio. He designed the house and supervised craftsmen from the village of Belmont in its construction. The splendid vistas and the tranquility gave hime peace and inspiration and the village supplied the models for much of his finest work.

The Anchorage is a large house on two levels, built with distinctive architecture on a commanding site where the hillside plunges into a deep gorge.

It has a breathtaking view of Montego Bay and miles of coastline. The villa is surrounded by several acres of landscaped grounds.
